Calling All Stakeholders: FruitCREWS Farmers’ Survey

Calling All Stakeholders: FruitCREWS Farmers’ Survey

The FruitCREWS COST Action is dedicated to improving the efficiency and sustainability of fruit tree irrigation practices. As part of this mission, we are conducting a survey to investigate the drivers and barriers for adopting irrigation decision support tools among fruit tree growers.

The survey aims to gather insights from farmers on their irrigation practices, decision-making processes, and perspectives on decision support tools. This valuable information will help identify regional and crop-specific needs, enabling us to develop more tailored and effective solutions for fruit tree irrigation.

Who Can Participate?

We are particularly interested in growers of the crops of main interest to FruitCREWS: apples, pears, peaches, grapevines (wine and table), olives, and kiwifruit. Completing the form is expected to take 10-15 minutes of your time.

The survey is available in 13 languages, making it accessible to a wide audience.

Below are the links to the online survey forms for each language:

How Will the Data Be Used?

The responses will provide insights into the adoption of irrigation decision support tools, contributing to the broader goal of making irrigation practices more efficient and sustainable. Results and updates from the survey will be shared on the FruitCREWS website.

Your participation is vital to understanding and improving irrigation practices in fruit tree farming. Together, we can contribute to more sustainable agricultural practices. Let’s make a difference!
