The FruitCREWS e-seminar series is returning this autumn, bringing our community together once again to share knowledge and insights on fruit crops and water management.
From October 2025 to June 2026, the seminars will take place on the second Thursday of each month at 15:30 CET. Each session will include two scientific talks (20–30 minutes each) followed by a 30-minute discussion, offering plenty of time for questions and exchange of ideas.
Mark your calendars! Each month, we’ve got a FruitCREWS date. Please note: The first seminar will be an exception. Instead of Thursday, it will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
Kick-off seminar
We will start the new season with: “Smart Irrigation when every drop counts: Learnings from IRRIWELL and CICLICA PRIMA Projects” chaired by Virginia Hernandez-Santana. The speakers joining us in the first seminar are: Dr. Antonio Díaz-Espejo who will present “IRRIWELL or Irribad: Good Science Makes Your Plants So Glad!” and Dr. Francisco Pedrero-Salcedo, presenting “Evaluating the Impact of Water Stress and Supplemental Irrigation on Carob Tree: CICLICA PRIMA Project“
